C.S.Krishnan
He is my inspiration. He gave me enough freedom to take my own course of life. Though I lost him in front of my eyes, a decade ago, in an accident in our village farm, he gave me a lot of inner strength and courage to face the life. He came from a rural, farming, family. His father (Sri. Chinnadhurai ), my grandpa, a noble person, could not handle my father's education fees, due to frequent crop failure and famine. My grandpa asked his brother ( Sri. Duraichami ), a lorry owner lived in nearby Dharapuram for help. He readilly accepted the responsibility of my father's education. He gave my father food, shelter and education.
On completion of his education, he joined as a school teacher. Then he completed his graduation in English. He got a diploma in Russian and passed Hindi Rashtrabasha level.examination. He gave me the name Chella Durai combining his "Chithappa & Chithi" ( Father's brother and his wife ) names. ie. Chellammal and Chinnadurai.
