02. I met a Zen Sidha ( For Big Bang Tango )
Dated
12.03.03 ( DD.MM.YY)
I used travel a lot to meet many unpredictable/unique people in my Journey.
I have heard about the Western Mystical Masters and mainly that of the Gurdjief.
His ways were very radical and his methods are really "Self Transforming
approches". After him no one came close to his unprdictability. BUT NOW
I FOUND AN EASTERN MAN!
Near Palani ( Refer http://www.palanitemple.com ) there is a place called Kanakkan
patty. If you step off from the bus ask anyone about that "Mootai chamy
!"
I visited him with my friend Kadir, a CEO and a modern day meditator. When we
reached a open Farm Field in that village we found many ( around 10) people
are pushing a 6 feet stone in that hot noon in a sandy Farm Field. There we
saw him, a begger like person, commanding them like a Maharaja. They all felt
thirsty but he insisted them to push the stone to a far away Tree.
On seeing us he asked / commanded us to join others! We too sweated heavily
due to that labour... ( My fingers are now more on Key Board..imagine!). In
between we stood relaxed for a few seconds looking for more people to help us.
But no one in the vicinity. He laughed at us and said, "It is your own
task. No one can help you. Push the stone". For me it sounded like that
of Budha's last words. Light unto yourself (no one can Help you!)
Only after reaching the tree after an hour of hardwork he allowed us to drink
the water. That was my concious drinking in that year!lol!
Then he started his Dharbar/ court. He dont ask who are you etc. Straight away
he may ask you to Do some unusual thing like climbing a tree or lieing on the
barren filed in the sand. Still many people are coming from distant lands like
Chennai. A person came there was reading books on Blackhole and Big Bang!
When you are with him, you can not have a feel of your own EGO. We can feel
that the time is having no relevence there. He may ask you to sleep in the night
under a tree and then in the midnight he will wake you up to change the sleeping
place. Totally unpredictable!
Still many people are coming to meet him. His words are not clear ... like that
of the madman. From there you can not come as you wish unless he asked you to
do so! Sometime he wont say that for 2 days. In that dry farm land no provision
for water or food. Only source is his visitors bring some fruits and water.
That also he wont allow to eat when it arrives!! ( I remembered a song of Kaviyarasu
Kannadhasan, "Aatuvithar Yaroruvar Aadathare Kanna!")
No sermons from Vedas or Vedanthas. No hindus or Muslim! No miracles either
but you can understand that you are not the same person, there!
He commanded/chased us to go away after some 10 hours and we ran from there.
Some of his devotees/visitors said that it is his usual send off.
Around him no structures (One of his visitor Built a big Meditation Centre near
Chennai by spending few million rupees.. ) but when he invited him... he gave
his usal send off!LOL!
Here I remember Thus Spake Zarthustra of Nietche. " You will do some miracles/tricks
and many people will come and join you as your slaves/disciples. Once there
is a good CROWD then you can not have freedom and you will become a slave for
'that crowd' !.. It is not possible with our mootaichamy Sidhar!
On the return journey I met one hindology professor ( who has written many commentaries
on Thirumoolar and Bhogar), his another visitor. He said ,"Mootaichamy
is a bonafide sidha! "
My Japanese friend Takashi Miki once said, "India is a land of Magic, unimaginable".
How true!?
