Happy to invite you to our new web environment. A less moderated Egroup for Tamil Inaya Lovers. No need to say more at Present. Our inspiration is Maha Kavi Bharathi, who forsee info revolution in those early days and circumstances.

ENE is a simple web environment created with the help of functionalities available in Yahoo Egroup. This web environment will have a] Member contact information b] Tamil links section c] Archiving, to helps Tamils and future Generations d] Mailing list for Tamil Issues, News, Arts ..etc.
2. What we members have to do on joining?
------------------------------------------
Web is the future of the mass media. Tamils should be better networked in a simple platform to exploit the resources available in the info highway. The other point is Influence! Many know how our fragmentally networked Tamil community have made Rakkamma Kaiyathattu of Ilayaraja and AR Rehman in the BBC polls. So once we have a common platform, then our voices will be better heard and mass opinion can be generated in few minutes!. Internet is wast and dynamic infosphere. Many interesting news / development can go unnoticed and our Tamil Community can not be siting idle with these wasted opurtunities. One single person can not do this task of News Aggregation and Documentation and Archiving. So we are doing this as a group/team. As Bharathiyar said, "We have to travel in all eight direction of this World (Wide Web) to bring wealth ( of knowledge/ infos/ Datas ) to the Tamil Community."
So kindly do the following on joining ENE ...
a] Send a short intro/profile about you to the group at ene@yahoogroups.com ( If you have a home page kindly mention it)
b] Update your contact infos immdtly in the database section on joining.
c] Create your signature in your mail program or in Yahoo as below, for posting and your general mailing purposes.

3. Volunteering, in your own way

ENE is the recursive acronym of "ENE Not Erumbugal". It should be pronounced as "INI" ( this word may have many meanings including "The future" and "Hereafter") in Tamil. Our volunteer Team at Coimbatore, Headed by Mr.Senthil & Prakash will take care of the maintanance and updating of this Web Environment including Databases. [ Senthil is already a veteran in Yahoo groups managing @800 member-strong Coimbatore News. Yes. Coimbatoreans all over the world (around 15 countries) are having their own webmedia egroup, updated in a meticulus manner on a daily basis!}
To become a volunteer, please mail us at chellabm@sancharnet.in, quoting your skills, hobbies/interest and "how many hours you can volunteer (mostly using the NET!) per month.
Volunteer Requirments will be posted, time to time in the files section as volunteer_req.txt
4. Anti spam measures

We have set our settings in such a way that your email id will be kept within our moderator community and no one can take those infos. Even in Table we never published your Email informations. So be comfortable!
5. What infos can be posted in this egroup?

a. Your own personal biodatas and project infos < for better networking and understanding >
b. News / Informations on Global Tamils.
c. Any info or URL, a member finds useful, (on the net) for our Global Tamil community.
d. Any anouncement on new Project, Cult, Group (including e groups), Book, Website, Movie, Songs, Politics (!) etc
e. New items will be included soon.
6. Group Culture

We don't have any hierarchies among our ENE'ANS. So the flattest possible organization is ENE group! The work culture is influenced by "Creative Freedom", "Sharing of resources", "Responsibility", "Non-intrusive communication" and "Transparency".
